My Son

 

Discover her magnificent jungle ruins of temples, My Son is a treasure trove of archaeological Hindu culture in Vietnam. It restores the quality of the Cham art, especially between the sixth and twelfth century. There contains about 70 monuments of stone built between the seventh and thirteenth centuries. Their architectural diversity demonstrates the talent of artisans Cham.

 

My Son is compared with the remains of the South-East Asia such as Angkor Wat, Borobdur and Vatphu Pagan. You will find many monuments reminiscent of Indian influence like Hindu Shiva. This Shiva pedestal will surprise to you by the fine structure of the temples and the richness of its ornaments. It's an amphitheater of two kilometers in diameter. My Son Cham was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
